Summary

L. Pugh & Associates was a member of a design team constructing a new building for Navy Federal Credit Union.  This is one of two buildings that L. Pugh & Associates, Inc. was involved in the construction, at this site.

NFCU – Building 4 is a four story building, with one story being the basement, that serves as a call center and administrative building for Navy Federal Credit Union.  The building includes three standpipes with two wet pipe zones on each floor.  The third floor wet systems also protects the two skylight areas which are open down to the first floor.

There are three pre-action systems on the Basement level protecting the Battery Room, UPS and MDF Storage Room.  Additionally there are three pre-action systems per floor protecting the IDF rooms.

The basement also includes a dry system which protects the loading dock on the northeast end of the building.

Much of the sprinkler system is exposed, making a straight, clean installation that much more important, as it will be seen every day.
